2N is a manufacturer of IP intercoms and access control products, headquartered in Czechia. Its product line covers IP video door stations, intercoms, answering units, and access readers built for network deployment. Products reach the Canadian market through distributors and certified installers. All devices are IP-native, designed to run over standard network infrastructure.

2N, founded in Prague in 1991, is Europe’s leading IP intercom maker and has been part of the Axis family since 2016, which shows in its engineering priorities: open standards (SIP, ONVIF), PoE everything, and clean integrations with the major VMS and access platforms. The portfolio runs from the flagship IP Style video intercom through the modular Verso line to indoor answering units and the My2N cloud service.

In Canada, 2N competes for the multifamily and commercial entry market against Aiphone and the proptech upstarts, with the Axis relationship making it a natural pairing in Axis-standardized buildings. Its differentiation is openness: where many residential intercom platforms lock buildings into proprietary apps and subscriptions, 2N interoperates, which building owners discover matters at year seven when they want to change service providers.
