Write for Us

Write for Security Standards Canada. Industry articles from practitioners, published with full author attribution. Pitch a topic in physical security, cybersecurity, networking, or infrastructure.

Guest articles from practitioners

We publish industry articles written by the people who do the work: consultants, integrators, engineers, technicians, and security leaders. Every published article carries full author attribution: your name, your role, and a short bio with a link to your company or profile. Your expertise, your byline.

Articles are edited for clarity and must meet the same bar as everything else on the site: accurate, practical, vendor-neutral in tone, and useful to Canadian practice. Technical claims need sources. Thinly veiled product advertising will not run; if you want promotion, see advertising instead, which is always labeled as such.

Topics we want

  • Access control, video, and intrusion practice
  • Network design for security systems
  • Cybersecurity for integrators and OT environments
  • Standards in Canadian practice (ULC, CSA, TIA, NIST, IEC 62443)
  • Case studies and lessons from real projects
  • Career and trade insight for security professionals

Pitch an article

Send a short pitch first. If it fits, we will ask for the draft and work through editing together.

We do not pay for guest articles and we do not charge to publish them. No sponsored posts disguised as editorial, in either direction. See the editorial policy.
