Keenfinity Group (formerly Bosch Security Systems)

Overview

Keenfinity Group is the security and communications product business formerly owned by Bosch. In 2025, European investment firm Triton acquired Bosch's video, access control, intrusion, and communications product lines and united them under Keenfinity. The video systems, formerly Bosch Video Systems, now operate as IQSight, an intelligence-first video security brand. Access control and intrusion products are moving to the Radionix brand, and communications includes Electro-Voice, Dynacord, RTS, and Telex. Products still sold under the Bosch name are transitioning to the new brands. Widely deployed across Canadian commercial, institutional, and government sites.

Keenfinity Group is the new name for what the industry knew for decades as Bosch Security Systems: the video, intrusion, access, and communications businesses that Bosch sold to private equity firm Triton, with the transition completing through 2025-2026. The product families themselves (Bosch-heritage cameras, the B and G Series intrusion panels, Dinion and Flexidome imaging, Praesensa public address) continue under the new ownership, and Bosch branding persists on much shipping hardware during the changeover.

For Canadian dealers and spec writers the practical questions are continuity ones: firmware and support commitments, certification carry-over (ULC listings on intrusion product especially), and how channel programs evolve under an owner whose incentives differ from a German industrial conglomerate’s. The engineering reputation, particularly in imaging and intrusion, is the asset everyone is watching to see preserved.
