Gallagher Command Centre v9.50 adds AccessNow workflow automation

Command Centre v9.50 integrates the cloud-native AccessNow platform, adds VisionPass SP Fingerscan support, and opens reporting data to Power BI and Tableau.

Gallagher released Command Centre v9.50, and the headline feature is aimed at the least glamorous part of access control: the request queue. The release integrates AccessNow, a cloud-native platform that automates access and credential requests from submission through provisioning.

What AccessNow does

Anyone who has run a large Command Centre estate knows the pattern. Access requests arrive by email, get approved by someone in a hallway conversation, and land on a security administrator who keys them in by hand. AccessNow replaces that with structured workflows: a request is submitted, routed to the right approver, and provisioned automatically once approved. The audit trail comes free, which is what compliance reviewers actually ask for. The platform was recognized as Outstanding New Security Product at the 2026 New Zealand OSPAs.

The rest of the release

Two other additions are worth noting. The release adds support for the VisionPass SP Fingerscan biometric module, extending the biometric options at the door. And a new Reporting Dataset connects Command Centre to third-party analytics platforms, including Power BI, Tableau, and Excel. That last one matters more than it sounds: security data has historically lived in its own reporting silo, and letting a client’s existing BI team build dashboards from access data brings security operations into the same view as the rest of the business.

For Canadian sites

Gallagher has a steady footprint in Canadian government, utilities, and higher education, where the approval-chain problem is at its worst. If a site is already on Command Centre, v9.50 is the kind of release that justifies the upgrade cycle on administration savings alone, provided the AccessNow cloud component passes the organization’s data-residency review first.
