Intel completed its Arc Pro B-series with two higher-end workstation cards, the B65 and B70, both carrying 32GB of memory at prices far below what that capacity has historically cost.
The cards
The Arc Pro B70 runs 32 Xe cores with 32GB of memory at 608 GB/s, delivers 367 peak TOPS for AI work, and draws 230W, with partner boards spanning 160W to 290W. The Intel-branded card lands around $1,000. The B65 steps down to 20 Xe cores and 197 peak TOPS at 200W, keeping the same 32GB and bandwidth. Both offer hardware ray tracing and are positioned for CAD, visualization, and local AI inference.
Why security workstations should care
The GPU in a security operations workstation has one dominant job: decoding camera streams. A monitoring position driving a video wall may be decoding dozens of H.264, H.265, and AV1 streams at once, and it is decode capacity plus VRAM, not gaming benchmarks, that determines how many tiles stay smooth. Intel’s media engines have been the quiet strength of Arc since the first generation, and 32GB of VRAM gives operator workstations rare headroom for high-count layouts and the local AI features VMS clients keep adding.
At roughly $1,000, the B70 undercuts the traditional workstation-card pricing that security consoles have been paying for years.
