dormakaba Canada is the Canadian arm of global access and door hardware manufacturer dormakaba, based in Mississauga, ON. Its lines cover access control systems, electronic locks, and mechanical door hardware. The company supports architects, integrators, and end users across Canada. Backing from a global parent gives Canadian projects local support with an international product range.

dormakaba, formed by the 2015 merger of Swiss Kaba and German Dorma, is one of the top three access solutions groups globally: door hardware, electronic access, hotel locks (Saflok and Ilco, both with Canadian heritage in Montreal), physical access barriers, and the Keyscan access control line, which is engineered in Whitby, Ontario. The RCI (Rutherford Controls) electrified hardware brand also now lives under dormakaba.

The Canadian footprint is more substantial than most buyers realize: Keyscan remains a popular made-in-Canada access platform for small and mid-size commercial sites, Montreal builds hospitality locks shipped worldwide, and the dealer channel spans locksmiths through enterprise integrators. As with ASSA ABLOY, part of working with dormakaba is simply tracking which historic brand now answers to which division.
