Hanwha Vision (formerly Samsung Techwin / Hanwha Techwin) is a South Korean global leader in video surveillance with over 35 years of industry experience and full in-house vertical integration from lens manufacturing to firmware development. The company's Wisenet product line spans AI-powered dome, bullet, PTZ, thermal, and multi-sensor cameras, complemented by the Wisenet WAVE VMS for on-premises deployments and OnCloud for cloud/VSaaS management. Hanwha Vision cameras are NDAA-compliant and feature edge-based AI analytics for object detection, people counting, and heat mapping, making them well-suited for banking, gaming, government, healthcare, and large retail environments. The company holds significant global market share and operates through an extensive certified partner network across North America, including Canada.

It is a common default for retail, education, and mid-market commercial projects where supply chain compliance matters but the budget will not carry a premium European brand.
